SCUM is undoubtedly one of the coolest survival games out there, and we’re thrilled you’re joining us on this exciting adventure! Let’s remember that SCUM is a continuously evolving project, and we, the Echelon UA team, are always striving to find the perfect balance between freedom and comfort on our server.
Even though we use powerful hardware, the game sometimes throws us curveballs due to its ongoing development. So, to enhance your experience, we’re revisiting the topic of vehicle limitations.
• A section in the rules has been updated.
After the latest wipe, we set a limit: 1 land vehicle per squad member + 1 aircraft per squad. We appreciate that most of you are following these rules! Your honesty is key to a stable and enjoyable game.
We’ve listened carefully to your feedback and decided to experiment: adding the option for water vehicles without counting towards the overall squad limit! Now you can roam the SCUM seas on boats and speedboats without worrying about restrictions.
Regarding aircraft, we want to make them more valuable, as some players feel they’re too easily acquired. Therefore:
• We’re reducing the server limit from 20 to 10 aircraft to maintain the thrill of searching and risk-taking.
• We’re opening a dedicated channel on Discord where you can purchase aircraft, making them a more prized possession.
• The “1 aircraft per squad” rule remains in effect. We’ll be closely monitoring compliance, and violators will lose all aircraft in their squad.
These changes are not final. We’re always open to your ideas and willing to experiment. So please, keep sending us your feedback and suggestions! Together, we’ll make Echelon UA even better!
